Mountains And Rivers Without End
Our first long-term project, launched with an initial phase of work from April through June 2009, weaves our methodology and cognitive experiments with an integrated exploration of a core text: Gary Snyder’s long poem Mountains and Rivers Without End.
In the first phase of the project, we focused on two poems in particular: “Night Song of the Los Angeles Basin” and “The Mountain Spirit”.
In late June 2009 we gave our first performance of material from our journeys into the landscape of this text.
Video highlights from this performance can be found here.
Audio, video and photos from performances and rehearsals will continue to be posted.
